“ I reconnected with my friend from high school in Portage and he was really excited to have me try the food at RJ's Sports Bar & Grill at 8118 Portage Rd. The bar may not look like much but do not let it’s looks deceive you, the visit was completely worth it. I tried RJ’s Swiss Mushroom Burger and it was one of the largest tastiest burgers I’ve ever tried. The meat was tender and juicy; the lettuce, tomato, and onions were fresh, and the fries were good, too. They also have hot dogs, wings, fried pickles and jumbo shrimp. I hear the cheeseballs are something to try as well. The Bartender was helpful and attentive and sitting on the patio was a serene experience. If you are out in the Kalamazoo area, you need to try the burgers here. Arrive hungry or you may get full before you get halfway done with your meal. Bon appetit! ”
